Knutsford May Day
Knutsford Royal May Day is the highlight of the town’s calendar and it takes place every year on the first Saturday in May. The procession through the town and the crowning of the May Queen began in 1864 by the Vicar of Knutsford, the Rev. Robert Clowes. The prefix ‘Royal’ was bestowed on the event in 1887 by their Majesties King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, then Prince and Princess of Wales. Knutsford remains exceedingly proud of its Royal title.

Rewind Festival, Capesthorne Hall
After the phenomenal success and buzz surrounding the first 3 years of Rewind Festival, they are back to the Northern stately setting of Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire. With a beautiful lakeside view and a natural amphitheatre, Capesthorne Hall truly is the perfect setting for a weekend of 80's filled festival-going. Capesthorne is an easy 15 minute drive making the Vicarage the perfect Festival hideaway… Want the festival? But without the Fuss? … The Courthouse is 25 minutes away but our other hotel: The Vicarage at Holmes Chapel is a stones throw away which means no tents, no faff, hot showers and a comfy bed. Its sort of like the festival experience, only better . . .
